A review system for INZO where every review is verified and moderated before it goes live. I built both sides: the public flow people use to leave reviews, and the admin portal the team moderates from.
- Two verification tiers: clients sign in through the existing portal SSO and get a Verified client badge, while guests confirm their email with a 6 digit one time code (10 minute expiry, 3 attempts).
- A moderation state machine with 6 states (pending, info requested, published, rejected, archived, deleted), with every transition enforced on the backend.
- An admin portal with 3 roles (moderator, supervisor, admin) enforced in both the interface and the API, plus a dashboard, a moderation queue with bulk actions, and a detail view with public replies and internal notes.
- Fake review defenses: reviewer fingerprinting that automatically flags rapid repeats and suspicious patterns for a human to check.
- An info request flow: admins ask a reviewer a question through a signed, single use link, and a scheduled job archives reviews with no reply after 14 days.
- A complete audit trail of every moderation decision.
